Are Reservations Required?
Walk-Ins are welcome at our Jacksonville location, but we do recommend making a reservation to keep wait times minimal.
At our Amelia Island / Fernandina Beach location bookings must be made ahead of time, and at least an hour before the rental time. As well all Amelia renters must have their temporary boating certificate done before coming in (if needed), and have already watched the PWIA safety video. These items can be found in the “What to do first” section.
How Old Do I Need To Be?
You must be 18 or older to rent, 14 or older to drive (must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian if under 18), and at least 10 to ride as a passenger
What Does The Optional Insurance Cover? (Jet Skis)
Insurance has a deductible of $1000. Meaning that renters are only responsible for the damage up to $1000. This deductible does not cover PWC recovery in the event that the PWC is sunk, or ran aground. Insurance also does not cover lost items like life jackets or keys. Refer to the fee schedule for PWC recovery costs. The full policy can be found in our Policies page. Insurance does not come automatically, and must be purchased separate. Please inquire about insurance pricing etc.
What Should I Bring And What Should I Wear?
Bring your government-issued ID, proof of your boater’s safety license (if born after 1988), sunscreen, and a towel.
What Is Included In My Rental?
Jet Ski/Boat, one tank of gas, a life jacket, a whistle, and instructions on how to operate the jet ski. *Wet suits are not provided but wetsuit bottoms are offered as well as helmets. Be prepared to lock your personal belongings in your vehicle, for the duration of your rental time (we are not liable for items lost or damaged during rental use).
Can The Driver Come Back To The Dock?
This is at the discretion of your guide, and the driver will need to be guided back to the dock by the guide.
Am I Allowed To Bring Personal Items Or Beverages On The Jet Ski/Boat?
If you choose to take your phone, we suggest a waterproof case. Evolution JetSport is not liable for any personal items lost or damaged. There is a small console to hold non-alcoholic beverages and waterproof items, this console is by no means a safe place to keep valuables and we are not responsible if it opens and items fall out. We recommend any items be fastened to your body to keep items from being lost, especially when flipping or falling off the equipment. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
What Happens If I Damage The Rental?
The rental contract specifies terms whereby the primary renter is responsible for damages that may occur during the rental period. All of our equipment is photographed upon departure and arrival. This documentation is done to ensure accurate records for both Evolution JetSport. and the renter of the equipment. Charges will be applied to the credit card on file for the cost of damages.
Do I Get A Weather Refund If It Rains During My Rental?
If the weather is inclement because of lightning or heavy rains at the location and time of the rental, we will refund 50% of the rental price, or reschedule for a later time or date. Please check weather before booking.
What Is The Cancelation Policy?
Customers are perfectly welcome to cancel with more than 24 hours notice provided they purchase peek protect. Please follow the peek protect email to get your refund.
If canceling within 24 hours of the rental and having purchased peek protect, customers can choose either a 50% rental refund or reschedule to another date.
Any reservations that have had a previous same-day rental rescheduled are only eligible to be rescheduled at our discretion.

Can We Bring Jet Skis/Boats To The Beach?
Jet skis/Boats are NOT allowed at or on the beach. You must stay within the boundaries explained by our licensed operators. Failure to follow the guidelines may result in the termination of the rental, loss of deposit, and being prohibited from future rentals.
