Am I Reading That Correct?
Yes Evolution Jetsports is planning to have a throw back to pre 2010 with a guitar hero tournament using Guitar Hero 3 on Wii. We’re not just water sports enthusiasts over at EJS but we’re also nerds and gamers. Guitar Hero has always been a cult classic, and is a great way to have a ton of fun with a big group of people. We’re still ironing out the details on how to make this work and when it will happen, we want it to be a good time with everyone, and unfortunately that means thinking about every possible issue that may arise when getting a bunch of people together at one location.
How Will This Work?
When we have a date we will post the tournament under our “Events” tab found HERE. We wanted to think of the best way to do a give away that didn’t just involve posting comments or some other basic crap that everyone else does, plus we just like an old fashioned competition. Entry is 100% free, we just want this to be fun, and we don’t want people to think we’re just trying to profit on peoples entry fees, we like showing the community a good time. We will probably keep the players down to a certain level (that to be decided soon), but the winner will be given a free jet ski rental for 2 people for one hour. Pretty cool right? Only pitfall is the $34 insurance will still have to be paid still, but we will cover the hourly fee on the house.
What about the people that aren’t winners. Well the owner will be in the tournament as well at different points, if you play the owner and win, you get 10% off any future rental. Not too difficult right? We’re sure there’s some GH3 prodigies from back in the day that are dying to break their skills out again. So Lets see what you guys got.
Age Requirements?
Anyone over 10 is welcome to play, but if the winner is below the legal renting age of 18, they will have to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is 21 or older when claiming their prize. Sadly we still have to abide by the laws of the FWC, but we also do not want to keep anyone with a love for guitar hero and jet skis from entering if they want to give it a shot.

It can be a bit confusing finding us, but it’s the second driveway with the mailboxes and the feather flags with our logos, just drive down the ramp and take whatever spot is available.
